Water Conservation:  The responsibility belongs to those who have water not to those who don't!

Water Conservation is vital both in the U.S. and abroad to help prevent overuse, pollution, and waste of our water supplies, and to ensure that sufficient quantities will be available both now and in the future.  In many nations where fresh water is readily available there is a common misconception that it will always be there.  This is not only erroneous, but could also prove to be a disasterous belief for the economic and overall well being of the people of that nation and the world as a whole.  The time to protect our precious fresh water supplies isn't when it becomes a problem of astronomical proportion, but before the problem reaches a critical state and requires tremendous effort and resources by the government and people to resolve.

Here in the
United States
we use more water per person than anywhere else in the world. The EPA estimates that the average water consumption per person is around 114 gallons a day. However, in less affluent country's the average daily water consumption is about 2 or 3 gallons a day! In some areas or the world fresh water isn't even available without going for miles to reach it and then carrying it for miles back to the dwelling. It's not a bad thing that we in the U.S. have such an abundance, but our cavalier attitude in the use and quite often overuse, misuse, and lack of respect for our water is.  On average most households in the United States flush approximately 112 gallons of fresh water per day in the toilet.  It doesn't seem to make much sense to spend huge amounts money and fossil fuel based energy (which creates air pollution) to purify our drinking water only to then flush large amounts of it down our toilets, wash our cars. and irrigate our huge lawns.  There are smarter and more responsible ways to handle this resource.

International Water From Air, L.L.C. wants to increase public awareness of this problem, and to make it easy for our visitors to begin a water conservation program in the home or office.  We have compiled and made available resources and links for a variety of water conservation products on the market today.  We have both verified and confirmed that these are very effective, efficient, and affordable products for the home and office that will make conserving water not only smart and responsible, but an economical practice as well.

We can collectively take responsibility now, be proactive and attempt to maintain a world like this one for ourselves, our children, and our Childrens' children........

Or we can simply ignore this problem, be irresponsible, be reactive, enjoy immediate gratification, hope the problem will fix itself, allow the situation to reach a critical stage, and then unrealistically expect the government to come in and fix the problem for our children and their children like we have done so often in the past.  Perhaps our selfishness and total lack of concern will allow our world to conceivably look like this one day.  For the person in the photo below, it isn’t a possibility, it’s a reality, and it isn’t tomorrow there, it’s today!
