WATER FILTERS
- PP = Poly-Pleat cartridges meet or exceed the three-log (99.9%) removal requirement for cyst reduction and are certified effective by independent testing. Cartridges are not reusable.
- CTO = Carbon Block filters are the most widely used carbon block devices in the world and provide previously unattainable performance at the lowest price point. CTO filters simultaneously remove free chlorine and organic chemicals that contribute to taste and odor while providing the particulate filtration and dirt-holding capacity of an efficient 5µm nominal sediment filter. These filters are optimized for applications where they perform the role of both a sediment and activated carbon filter
- UF = UF is effective for the removal of colloids, proteins, bacteria, viruses, parasites protozoa and pyrogens, (e.g., gram-negative bacterial endotoxins), and other organic molecules larger than .01 Micron size and most other water contaminations known today. Also removes pesticides and herbicides, as well as the hardness in water and salts.
- T33 = Inline Filter effectively reduces Chlorine, Taste, and Odor from your drinking water.
Maintenance
Properly maintaining your AWG is simple and requires minimal effort. After proper setup, most units work as a "turn it on and forget it" appliance. However, to get the most out of your investment, you must keep up on general maintenance:
- Clean air filters as needed (Usually every 6 months).
- Change inline R/O and water filters (Usually every 6 months, depending on usage).
- Change the UV (ultraviolet light every 12 months).
- Drain your unit before storing it away.
- Consult a professional for any necessary repairs.
Properly maintaining your unit will ensure that it has a long life span. Your Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) can last anywhere from 3-15 years depending on the model.
